1. What types of payment do you accept?

2. Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. Camyx.shop provides free standard shipping on all orders, both within the United States and internationally. No minimum purchase is required.


3. How long will it take for my order to arrive?

  • United States: 5–10 business days after order ships (orders ship within 1–2 business days).

  • International: 10–21 business days after order ships (orders ship within 1–2 business days).
    Processing and transit times may be longer during peak seasons or due to customs delays.


4. Can I track my order?
Absolutely. Once your order ships, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email containing the carrier name and tracking number. You can click the tracking link in that email or log into your Camyx.shop account to see the latest status.


5. What if my package is lost, damaged, or stolen?

  • Lost in Transit: If tracking shows no movement for more than 10 (domestic) or 20 (international) business days, contact us at support@camyx.shop. We will open an investigation with the carrier.

  • Damaged Package: Inspect your package immediately. If you notice external damage, take photos of the packaging and contents, then email us within 7 days along with your order number. We’ll work with you to replace or refund.

  • Stolen After Delivery: If tracking shows “Delivered” but you did not receive the package, check with neighbors or your local post office. If still missing, notify us. We’ll help open a carrier claim, but final resolution depends on the carrier’s findings.


6. What is your return and refund policy?

  • 30-Day Guarantee: You have 30 days from delivery to return any item in its original condition for a refund or exchange.

  • Return Process:

    1. Email support@camyx.shop with “Return Request” and your order number.

    2. We will send you a prepaid return shipping label (U.S. only). International returns require you to cover return shipping costs.

    3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging, affix the label, and drop it off with the carrier.

  • Refund Timeline: Once we receive and inspect the return, refunds are issued within 5 business days to your original payment method.


7. Are your cameras guaranteed to work?
Yes. Every vintage camera is fully tested, cleaned, and inspected by our restoration team before listing. Each camera ships with a 30-day working guarantee. If you experience any mechanical issues within 30 days of delivery, we will repair, replace, or refund—your choice.


8. How can I be sure a vintage camera is authentic?

  • We source exclusively from trusted estates, auctions, and collectors.

  • Each camera is photographed in detail, and its make, model, and serial number are clearly listed.

  • You can review condition notes on the product page (e.g., light scuffs, lens clarity, shutter functionality).

  • If you have any doubts, email us before purchasing; we can provide additional photos or information.


9. Do you sell film, batteries, or other accessories?
We carry a curated selection of accessories, including film rolls (35 mm, 120 format) and specialty camera batteries when available. Our focus is on core camera bodies and bags, so inventory fluctuates. Check the “Accessories” section of the site for current stock.


10. Can I request a specific camera model if it’s not listed?
Yes. Send us an email at support@camyx.shop with the make, model, and any condition preferences. We’ll let you know if we can source that camera and provide an estimated timeframe and price.


11. How do I care for and maintain my vintage camera?

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the body. For lenses, use a blower brush first, then a lens-cleaning tissue with a small amount of cleaning solution.

  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep silica gel packets in your camera bag to absorb moisture.

  • Servicing: If you notice shutter issues, sticky aperture blades, or light leaks, contact a qualified camera technician. Our blog has detailed guides on basic film loading and lens care.


12. Can I purchase more than one bag or camera at once?
Of course. Simply add multiple items to your cart as usual. If items are in stock, they may ship together; if one item is on backorder, it may ship separately (you will receive individual tracking numbers).


13. Do you offer gift wrapping or personalized notes?
Currently, we do not offer gift wrapping at checkout. If you need a personalized note, include your message in the “Order Notes” field at checkout, and we will handwrite it and include it in the package.
